Social Responsibility

	The Banana Project was created by Travel Quest in 2007 with the goal to give travelers the opportunity to give back to the Cancun community by providing area schools with much needed supplies.  We’ve worked closely with Karisma Resorts in Cancun to build this program which has brought over $1000 worth of supplies to the region’s schools.  We invite and encourage other agencies and travelers to participate.
	Greener Skies launched in late 2007 to help offset the carbon of our client’s travels.  Together with Wright County Parks, Travel Quest created this campaign to fund programs in our local community that sequester carbon, protect habitats, and make conserve our natural resources.  For each booking made through Travel Quest, we donate $5 to Wright County Parks on behalf of our clients.
	Travel Quest strives to conserve energy and natural resources in our office through simple steps like using CFL lighting and timers, using both sides of the paper, turning off monitors when not in use, and recycling.  While this reduces our energy consumption, we feel there is still more we can do and that is why we 100% of our power comes from wind turbines.  Travel Quest will continue to look at ways to reduce our energy usage in the future.
	Giving back to our neighborhood is part of Travel Quest’s mission statement.  We strongly believe in stewardship of the environment, taking care of our employees, and being a strong supporter of the community.  Each year, Travel Quest donates $1000 to community organizations to help strengthen, support, and improve the lives and environment of those around us.
